Within minutes, you’re driving across the airfield directly to your commercial aircraft, climbing the stairs and boarding through the private jet bridge without ever setting foot inside the main terminal. On arrival, the process works in reverse, with private customs for international travelers and direct transportation away from the aircraft. We all know that time is the most luxurious commodity on the planet; PS reduced the travel time for BWLL’s Justin Williams on a recent trip to London by two hours and another two and a half hours on the return to LAX. “I was met at the aircraft door where the PS agent whisked me down a private staircase and into a new-model BMW 7 Series to the PS Terminal at LAX,” says Williams. “Ten minutes later, having been checked through the private TSA-managed passport control, I was in my car driving back to Laguna Beach within 20 minutes of landing.” What is most valuable isn’t the luxury. It is how quickly the stress disappears. Without crowds, loudspeaker announcements, or end- less waiting, flying suddenly feels calm again. “The drive across one of the world’s busiest airports was short and effortlessly efficient,” Williams adds. “Once you are escorted to the plane’s boarding door, you are met instantly by the airline staff who check your seat number and escort you to your seat. Fellow passengers are checking to see if you are famous, because of course, you do feel famous!” PS isn’t private aviation, and it isn’t another premium airport lounge. It’s an entirely different access to and experience of commercial travel.
