The new Clash de Cartier bag takes one of the 
collection’s most recognizable details, the stud, 
and makes it functional. Built into the clasp, it 
opens and closes with a twist, giving the oth-
erwise clean design a small but unmistakably 
Cartier detail.
Made in Florence from fine, naturally grained 
leather, the bag takes its shape from the simple 
lines of an envelope. Leave it open and it feels 
softer and more relaxed. Fasten the clasp and the 
shape becomes sharper and more structured. 
It can be carried by hand, on the arm, or over 
the shoulder and comes in black, caramel, and 
Cartier’s signature burgundy. 
